Murray has extensive experience with personnel management, payroll and manning of marine officers and seamen, drilling, labouring and catering crews on anchor handling supply vessels, dive support, seismic survey, drilling rigs and maritime construction equipment.

He has unrivalled in-depth knowledge of the industry including manning, operations management and industrial relations. Murray has managed many of the large logistic and procurement programs on behalf of our clients. This area of our service played a large part in the success of our clients' projects and they duly noted their appreciation to our company. Murray's wide experience in all other facets of shipping including ship agency and management of tankers, gas tankers, bulk cargo, reefer vessels and container lines is widely recognised by numerous clients both in the past and currently.

Calum joined NZOS in July 2016 when NZOS acquired a 50% in UNIMAR OFFSHORE SERVICES LTD.  Calum continues to develop and oversee UNIMAR’s vessel and salvage operations in his role as MD and also contributes to business development with NZOS.

Calum founded UNIMAR in 2005 in Nelson and grew the business over the years developing and providing offshore vessels, marine operations and shorebase services out of Port Nelson, Shakespeare Bay and Port Taranaki. He has been involved with Kupe, Tui, Maari, Pohokura and Maui A and B delivering a full range of marine support, including, offshore and inshore vessels, ROV and survey, diving and salvage.

Over the years since its inception, NZOS was a key partner providing all marine crew for UNIMAR vessels.

David's training and experience in the British Merchant Navy has been in the field of marine engineering and during his seagoing career he rose to the rank of Chief Engineer. Since moving ashore he has used his specialist knowledge of the maritime industry in a number of shore based appointments notably: managing tug and barge towing operations trans-Tasman, Operations Manager in the offshore throughout drilling, installation and operational phases.

During his career with NZOS he has overseen such diverse areas as the top side lift on Maui B, flexible flow line installation, diving programs, mid-depth buoy fabrication and numerous other projects on behalf of various clients.
